The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for working directly with the Operations Manager to achieve departmental goals, maintaining positive working relationships with service providers, and ensuring efficiency in all areas of work. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the accurate, efficient and safe movement of goods through the department. This position is responsible for employee hiring, training and performance management of the Warehouse team.
-Provide supervision and support to warehouse staff.
-Actively work in all capacities of the warehouse (Receiving, Inventory, Packing, Shipping).
-Participate in employee recruitment, retention, and career development.
-Perform regular 1 on 1 meetings with warehouse employees every two (2) weeks.
-Perform annual employee performance reviews.
-Responsible for training and performance management of warehouse employees.
-Plan and execute daily work processes.
-Work closely with Operations Manager to create and achieve departmental budgets, staffing plans and goals.
-Manage warehouse supplies.
-Evaluate and implement process improvements.
-Additional duties / tasks as assigned (Export Compliance, Incoming Freight Tracking, etc.)
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Participate in service provider contract review and negotiation.
-Maintain working relationships with service providers.
-Work closely with Tech room employees to maximize efficiency.
-Work closely with Sales Admins to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
-4 years of warehouse experience with at least one year as a Lead or Supervisor.
-Ability to motivate, inspire and direct employees.
-Detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, driven work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
-Knowledge of computer hardware equipment a plus.
-Ability to successfully deal with questions and resolve issues individually and as a team.
-Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with other departments.
-Must be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
-Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
-Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods of time.
-Must be mechanically inclined, hands-on, and have good hand/eye coordination.
-Must be customer-centric with integrity, a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
