Summit 360, a fast-paced, growing product sales and services company is looking to add a Financial Analyst to the team!


The Financial Analyst position is an outstanding opportunity for the detail-oriented professional who is passionate about data and has a strong, proven understanding of accounting procedures.  We are looking for a financial analyst who will have an immediate impact in a blended role.  As a Financial Analyst, you will be accountable for the development of standard data analyses, monthly GL reconciliations, process improvements, and contributing to daily financial tasks. This position reports directly to the Finance Director and requires an ability to multi-task with competing priorities and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced, changing environment.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards. 
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Partner with internal departments to collect and use data to drive business decisions
  • Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations and research/analyze any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Assist in the financial close processes in accordance with GAAP
  • Cross-train within the accounting team to create depth and provide versatile support to other team members
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of internal accounting controls and processes
  • Accurately execute routine daily accounting procedures and financial transactions
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 or more years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analyst roles
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Proficient in Excel and data modeling
  • Previous sales & use tax experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, excellent time manager, driven work ethic, and ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines  
  • Ability to successfully deal with questions and resolve issues
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Absolute integrity and use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks, and information
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with various departments
  • Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
